It means that you have only quoted and there is no confirmation or guarantee of the use of the service. Without prepayment the quotation is subject to availability and may change without notice.

“Guaranteed”

A reservation is guaranteed when the client has made the total or partial payment of the reservation, in this way the availability of the category is guaranteed. the reservation will be completed when the total balance is covered, it is important to present the documentation in a physical way required in our offices.

Reservation change policy

Reservation changes must be requested at least 72 hours prior to the date you wish to use the service (subject to availability and seasonal rates, taking into account that the original reservation is valid for one calendar year).

Cancellation Policy

Guaranteed reservations are NOT refundable but may be used on a later date than originally reserved as long as the change is requested 72 hours prior to the rental car pick-up date by calling +52 998 389 5041 (subject to availability and seasonal rates, valid for one calendar year from the original reserved date).

No Show

Guaranteed reservations DO NOT apply refunds if the client does not show up to pick up the Rental Car (No Show) but may be used on a date later than the originally reserved one (subject to availability and seasonal rates, valid one calendar year from the date of reservation). reserved date).

Rental Conditions

To rent with Rise Car Rental you are required to leave a security deposit, we accept credit card or cash, this deposit is according to the category of the car and / or Insurance / Coverage contracted.

Basic Package are valid only with Credit Card.

Rental without credit card is only possible with the purchase of collision insurance: Intermediate or 0% Deductible packages.

It is also required to present proof of flight confirmation and proof of the place where you will be staying.

  • Minimum rentals of 4 days.
  • The minimum age to rent a car from Rise Car Rental is 21 years old. An additional charge will apply to young drivers between the ages of 21 and 24.
  • You can add up to 2 additional drivers at an extra cost by presenting a valid driver’s license.
  • It is extremely important that the drivers are registered in your rental contract because in case of an accident and not being properly registered, the insurance does not cover them and the renter assumes full responsibility for the damages.
  • The images that appear on the Web, as brands and models shown, are only illustrative. Rise Car Rental only guarantees the category of the car (ACRISS).
  • If the car is not available at the time of the contract, another car of the same category or higher will be assigned for the same cost originally reserved.
  • The car must be returned in normal conditions of use, in case of returning it with wet seats, stained, excess sand, pet hair and / or extreme dirt will apply an additional charge for extra cleaning service
  • Smoking is not allowed inside the car, in case of detection of cigarette ash residues, burnt seats or with cigarette or tobacco odor will apply additional charges for extra cleaning.
Credit Card Rental Car Rental Requirements

  2. Official ID with photo. Only IFE/INE (Mexican Citizens) or Passport will be accepted.
  3. Original valid driver’s license, we accept international driver’s licenses and (Foreign) in case of expired document will be charged $350.00 MXN per day.
  4. All drivers must present a valid original driver’s license with photo and official identification.
  5. Personalized credit card in the name of the renter.
  6. VISA, MASTER CARD AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, DINERS CLUB are welcome.
  7. All documents must be presented without alterations, erasures or amendments.
  8. Rise Car Rental reserves the right to rent a vehicle if any of our rental requirements are not met.
Requirements to rent a car without a credit card
  1. You may rent the car without a credit card by purchasing the collision insurance: Intermediate or 0% Deductible packages.

Payment Methods

The accepted forms of payment are: cash, debit card or credit card (American Express, VISA, MasterCard,Discover, Banamex, BBVA Bancomer, Banorte, Santander, HSBC, Scotiabank and PayPal).

Exchange Rate

The exchange rate will be subject to the day the payments are made.

Location

We are located 5 minutes from Cancun International Airport.

Our staff will be waiting for you at the airport, after picking up your luggage you must go to the “Friends and Family area”, we will take you to our offices for the signature and pick up of the car.

Insurance Policies

The rates already include basic liability insurance or damage to third parties. TPL

The Basic Insurance only covers damages to third parties or civil liability for up to $750,000 mxn, the client is responsible for the total value of the car.

Rise Car Rental does not have agreements with external insurance companies or bank insurance.

The customer has the option to purchase a Collision Insurance Package: Intermediate with Deductible 10% of the value of the car or Extended Coverage with 0% Deductible in case of collision or total theft of the car.

Geographical Restrictions

Rise Car Rental authorizes the use of the car only for the state of Quintana Roo and Yucatan (Valladolid, Chichen Itza and Merida), does not authorize the use for the rest of the Mexican Republic, northern border (USA) or crossing to Guatemala.

Rise Car Rental authorizes the crossing of the vehicle to Belize by means of an authorization letter, which is important to request the same day of confirming the reservation.

The insurances included in the rental are valid only within the state of Quintana Roo and Yucatan, When entering Belize the client assumes full responsibility for the car in case of damage and even in case of mechanical failure as we do not have assistance outside of Mexico. The government of Belize will require you to purchase their liability insurance, which is payable directly at the border when crossing into Belize.

Gas

Gasoline is not included in the rental, if you return the vehicle with less gasoline than you received it, you will be charged for the amount of the missing gasoline which is more expensive than the gas station, we remind you to confirm the level of gasoline that the car receives.

There are no refunds for excess fuel.

Early return

The guaranteed rate only applies to the contracted rental period, no refunds apply for early returns.

Delivery and Return Service

We provide delivery service at your hotel, Airbnb, La Riviera Maya, Tulum, Bacalar, Holbox and Yucatan State with an extra cost depending on the location.

We also have service to pick up the car at your hotel, Airbnb La Riviera Maya, Tulum, Bacalar, Holbox and State of Yucatan with an extra cost depending on the location.

After Hours Pickup and Return Service

We offer the service of deliveries and returns after office hours with an additional cost.

Rise Car Rental offers customer service Monday through Sunday from 09:00 am to 09:00 pm.

Holiday schedule from (09:00 am to 05:00 pm).

Road Assistance

We offer road assistance at no extra cost in situations of mechanical failure (mechanical failure due to normal use of the vehicle).

Additional Equipment

Baby seats are available for rent at an additional cost which can be added at the time of booking (subject to availability).

The baby seat must be returned in the same conditions in which you received it, in case of returning it stained or damaged, additional charges for cleaning or restoration will be applied.
